Shervin is the founder of KPM. Based in Chester, Virginia he is a long-time project management advisor with a passion for technology.
Shervin started out as a Planner. His interest in Project Controls quickly piqued. He earned his PMP, PMI-RMP and PRINCE2 certifications and, as a Senior Project Controls Manager & Project Management Advisor, managed multinational mega projects in different countries such as Iran, Syria, Malaysia, and USA. Shervin has more than 22 years of international experience delivering critical capital projects up to $30 billion. He has client, consultant & contractor experience in setting up & application of robust project controls frameworks using international standards, best practices & latest tools.
He directs multi-disciplinary matrix teams, creates robust program management & controls plans and frameworks, rollout of processes and controls, KPIs and monitoring systems to report, mitigate risks and accurately track progress.
He eventually switched from leading projects to teaching the tenets of project management and project controls. He quickly became an expert in Primavera P6, MS Project, Acumen Fuse, Acumen Risk, Safran Risk and Primavera Risk Analysis after teaching for over 7 years.
He has experience conducting Integrated Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis (ICSRA) and managing risks for multi-billion mega projects to meet business plans and stakeholders’ objectives.
In 2021 KPM was born out of a passion to help users world-wide with project controls and project management. To date, Shervin has trained 160 students on project management, project controls, integrated cost & schedule risk analysis, CPM scheduling and proper practices for project success.
